Our Heritage

1888

A Scottish Escape A Scottish gentleman by the name of Kay had a vision. He built a charming summer retreat amid the Nilgiri Hills to escape the sweltering heat of the plains.

1990's

A Local Tamil Legacy: The property found itself under the ownership of a local Tamil family. They lovingly lived here, adding their own chapter to the homestead's history.

2000's

Restoration and French Flair: Benoit embarked on a mission, with a deep appreciation for its heritage, he meticulously restored the building, infusing it with a touch of French elegance and charm. The result was a splendid transformation, and in 2009, La Maison opened its doors once more.

Present
