A Local Tamil Legacy: The property found itself under the ownership of a local Tamil family. They lovingly lived here, adding their own chapter to the homestead's history.
Restoration and French Flair: Benoit embarked on a mission, with a deep appreciation for its heritage, he meticulously restored the building, infusing it with a touch of French elegance and charm. The result was a splendid transformation, and in 2009, La Maison opened its doors once more.

La Maison is situated at an elevation of 1700 meters, offering a unique vantage point that provides panoramic views down to the plains, where you can gaze upon the city of Mettupalayam, located 1400 meters below.
